My Review of Hananakko
Inside the bag, the confection is carefully wrapped in gold foil, giving it a special feeling.
Open the foil and a beautifully browned sweet appears.
You can sense its moist texture simply by holding it.
The rich, mellow egg-yolk bean paste blends with moist, butter-scented dough, spreading a milky sweetness through the mouth.
It is good with coffee or tea, but I think it would be especially delicious with milk.
The pronounced sweetness makes a single piece fully satisfying.
It is perfect for children’s snack time or an adult’s break when feeling a little hungry.
Hananakko, a celebrated Chiba confection, is highly recommended both for yourself and as a gift.
