My child strongly urged me to buy these at Yashio PA.
The rabbit surrounded by strawberries on the package is extremely cute. Even its eyes are strawberries.

They are miniature-sized, and an adult could probably eat one in a single bite.
Every wrapper has a rabbit illustration. Lined up together, they look like a whole group of rabbits and are almost too cute.
Their appearance alone should make them popular with children.

They are soft and fluffy to the touch.

There are three layers: mochi, strawberry bean paste, and cream. The mochi is thin and so tender that it barely needs chewing. The strawberry flavor in the bean paste feels somewhat inexpensive—almost like a nostalgic penny candy. I rather like it for what it is.
The filling is closer to buttercream than whipped cream. Because the strawberry bean paste is quite sweet, the cream softens and rounds out the overall flavor.
They are certainly sweet, so eating one when you are tired should be comforting.
The individual wrappers make them easy to share, and nine pieces for ¥648 is excellent value.
Adults may find them a little too sweet, but the rabbit pictures are soothing, and I think they make a very good souvenir for children or anyone with a sweet tooth.
