The 155-gram bag contains a generous sixteen individually wrapped portions and cost about ¥500. Izu is famous for wasabi, after all ^_^ I enjoyed these in my room with a beer after bathing. The package looks unmistakably like a drinking snack. Its clear bag reveals the contents, and the vivid green color makes a strong impression. The best-before date is printed on the back and is ninety days. Each portion comes in a triangular packet. One packet contains about six pieces. That precise quantity is excellent. Let’s taste them! Coarse grains of salt are scattered over the green bean snacks. The amount is exactly right: not excessively salty, but assertive enough to keep the drinks flowing. Inside the faintly sweet snack coating is a peanut that adds another enjoyable texture. The refined wasabi aroma would probably pair well with tea too. Because the wasabi is quite pronounced, these may not suit children, but adults can easily become hooked.
