Daibutsu Pudding expanded rapidly over only a few years. Near Nara Park, the company even built a whimsical flagship that looks like a “Daibutsu Pudding Palace.” Its fairy-tale appearance is wonderfully photogenic and has become a sightseeing destination in its own right.

The product’s popularity probably comes from two things: the adorable packaging and the simplicity of the ingredients. That straightforward recipe makes it easy to understand what you are sharing with children, family members or gift recipients.
