Does anyone else feel like Yokohama seems more urban, even though they live in Tokyo?

In my family, we usually head to Chiba on weekends, so Yokohama feels quite far. But this time, we went to the amusement park Cosmo World, which gave me the chance to introduce a Yokohama souvenir.

I bought it at a souvenir shop on the first floor of the beautiful shopping mall next door, Yokohama World Porters, where we used the parking lot.

The shelf life is 59 days from the production date. I wonder—was it intentionally set at 59 days instead of 60? Or is it a technical limitation? It’s intriguing.

My Thoughts on Tasting Ariake Bashamichi Ice Cream Harbor at Room Temperature and Chilled

Alright, I’ll try it at room temperature first.

The texture is moist. The white bean paste spreads smoothly in the mouth, capturing the milky essence of ice cream. The sweetness is light and gentle, making it surprisingly refreshing.

Then, when I tried it chilled… it felt even more like ice cream!

The moistness increased, making it even more delicious!

The vanilla aroma adds a refined touch. I highly recommend eating this chilled.

While the regular chestnut-flavored Harbor is great, the summer-limited ice cream flavor is perfect for a summer treat! It was so good that it feels like a shame it’s only available for a limited time.

Rather than just “also good when chilled,” it’s more like “you have to chill it to fully enjoy it!”
